The properties of Lavender and Tea Tree are well known, Manuka is now used in hospitals for its unique ability to help kill a multitude of bacteria (it is believed to be up to 20 times more effective than tea tree oil), and Bog Myrtle is enjoying a revival in skin-care products for its anti-aging properties and for sensitive skin, oily skin, open pores and acne - it has properties similar to those of Tea Tree oil.
